Business Opportunity In The Fastest Growing Segment Of The Medical Industry.

PRP / BMA/C Equipment Sales and Clinician Services

FDA Approved Medical Equipment / Services

The PRP (stem cell) industry is out pacing all other medical device sales along with pharmaceuticals. Almost everyday there is added news of new uses and amazing procedural outomes. For years the medical community thought of PRP in the same way they thought of natural healing or nutritional supplements, it really was looked down upon or laughed at. Recently it has been discovered that high concentrate levels of platelet rich plasma also known as PRP may have the ability to REJUVINATE and/or speed the time of healing in many conditions. While in other conditions it may assist the body to a small percentage to complete cure for many medical issues and where it does not assist in a cure it has been known to rejuvenate lost, aged, dead or damaged areas of infliction. In short it is no longer the "procedure of wishful thinking" that it once was. Currently there are hundreds of positive clinical outcomes from skin and scar healing to cartilage, tendon including Achilles tendon all the way to vascular cures keeping people from amputations as well as cardiac valve repairs after heart attacks. There are very few doctors that would NOT have a use for PRP or BMA/C.

BASICS OF THIS BUSINESS

As for the Nuts and Bolts of the business, it is really quit simple. If you missed it or are not quite sure what PRP is all about or what we are talking about then please go back to the home page of this site and/or read the Tiger Woods article from the Wall Street Journal. Do as many Google searches as you can on Platelet Rich Plasma VS (insert a condition) and or view the YOUTUBE video #1 or video #2 and get a basic understanding before continuing on with this page.

  1. Call on doctors to offer the procedure to his or her patients.
  2. Offer clinics, doctors and surgery centers sale of equipment and or clinical assistance (office or O.R.)
  3. Build servicing relationship with the doctor keeping inventory stocked and or making sure you are present at the time of the cases. (process for the DR)
  4. Stay in communication with the Dr office to learn of upcoming cases.
  5. Repeat #1 above and continue

PRP / BMA/C SALES CONCEPT/S

The Concept is also very simple - First make a decision what type business you will conduct. For some owning a centrifuge, controlling their own inventory and having a one-on-one relationship with their doctors in which they service is more than enough of a full time job. They can build it to any level of success they desire and not take on any other responsibilities. As an Individual PRP Clinician you are an individual rep without any worries of anything other than your individual business. On the other hand there is the opportunity to grow a quite large agency with many employees, sales associates and service and support personal. The only difference is the desires of our heart in business and the start up capitol

Once your decision has been made on the type of business you will operate it is then time for basic training. Basic training will take only one day to learn how to process PRP in the office or clinic and another day for the hospital O.R. This does not mean your training is by any means complete. There is still some reading and studying some outcomes to understand biologically what is going on as well as your continued reading and research to keep abreast of new items, procedures and outcomes. We would love to tell you you can get your equipment and supplies today and begin in the field tomorrow, unfortunately while it is possible for with with prior education and experience it is not likely for the average person. The average person should realize it may be 2 to 4 weeks before your first sale while some will be quicker and some may take much longer.

You will bill your doctors for each case they process and use supplies. You have options to sell directly or place equipment and or inventory on consignment. It is your business we encourage you to be as customer friendly as you can afford. You decide your mark-up on supplies and the rate for your services. We will offer guidelines as suggestion but it is completely up to you.

Products

The equipment and disposables in this industry are very easy when compared to many other large pieces of equipment and or many cases of disposables in which the doctor is in need of.

First the centrifuge. It is a very delicate piece of equipment. It is only 36 pounds and is only the size of a laser printer. It is very easy to deal with when running clinician cases and traveling from one doctors office to another. The centrifuge fits in any trunk of any car and can be set up to run in only moments. Our centrifuge is branded within many independent third party studies and as a result becomes an easy sale due to the inherent trust.

The disposables such as needles, sprayers, tubes, syringes and more come as Kits. Each PRP kit has most everything needed for an individual case. This eliminates individual buying and matching keeping cost of inventory low. Some doctors may require specialty disposables in addition to the kit. In this case we can supply many insularly items to make sure your doctor is satisfied and comfortable with your products and services.

Services To Offer

Your offered services again can be very simple. Clinician Service is just that, i.e. the doctor has patients that he or she lines up for treatment or therapy on a given day. The PRP clinician arrives ahead of time to set up and get organized taking into account how many patients and how many injections are scheduled. If you are not a certified Phlebotomist then someone if not the doctor will be drawing and labeling the blood prior to passing it to you for processing.

You would then Process the blood in a sterile environment and pass the PRP filled syringe back to the doctor for application.

After all cases are complete individual invoices are completed for your payment and commissions, equipment is cleaned and stowed and all used disposables are compartmentalized for proper disposal.

If you are trained to offer services at a hospital in the O.R then all compliance's must be met for each individual hospital and all protocols of each individual hospital will need to be met individually, we will offer assistance and or guidance with hospital protocols. You will also need contract assistance by us in order to be paid by the hospital for your service. Hospital billing is much different than selling a doctor some disposables and picking up a check.

Autologous Stem Cell

U S Market

In 2004 the total US market for Autologous Biologics topped $10 million in sales. Today the orthopedic market alone for biologics and cellular therapies is $170 million. Orthopedic focused stem cell therapies growing from its current size of US $610 million to US $950 million by 2015. When all other medical markets are considered which are now having tremendous impact on the over all sales of autologous biologics the market will just be getting started at 7 Billion in sales by 2015.

Is investment in equipment 100% necessary ? - 100% Necessary NO. It is quite possible to get hired as a clinician within an agency or you could go out and sell the concept to a doctor or hospital and get paid in advance utilizing their money to purchase the equipment. Possible but not likely. In addition you will need equipment and supplies to service doctors as an independent Clinician. You are going into business and the tools of your trade are necessary. If you were in the restaurant business you would need a kitchen full of equipment, If you were a court room reporter you would need a stenography machine and supplies to run it. It is the same as a Biologics Clinician with out the centrifuge and supplies for the doctor you are out of business.

The bottom line is, You are in business. Tools of your trade are important. As an independent clinician you will need at least one centrifuge, ideally 2 or 3. One to run cases for doctors (your machine) and at least one more to sell or use as a "trial" machine. Putting a high caliber piece of equipment in a doctors hands to use or "try out" is one of the best ways to place machines and increase supply volume. Did you ever buy a car without a test drive? The more centrifuges you place the more you will earn in equipment sales but you will also receive the ongoing and continuing sales of the kits for every patient. The beautiful part is as you train doctors staff to run their own cases your time is free to add more doctors or build hospital relationships.

Can I start as an independent Clinician and later become a Level II distributor? - Yes, however there must be an available distributorship seat open in your area. Explanation - Each market may have multiple seats for distributorships. A level II distributor may control one seat or all available within a geographical market. In the early days many level II seats exist but they are quickly locking in level II distributorsships in order to control sales within an area.
Example: Milwaukee Wisconsin is a 3 Seat Market. You can work independently as a clinician with no territory rights or you can lock up one or all three of the seats as a level II distributor. Independent clinicians within any area prior to your seat have the optoin of remaining independent.

Requirements for Agency Sales or Individual Clinician or Rep - Minimal investment is required for equipment, initial inventory, marketing and expenses. You will need at least 30 days for training and your own learning curve.
Please Read the "BOTTOM LINE" above as you consider your investment options.
